		<description>I am glad to have found a decent post about a critical issue that seems to be ignored by many (if not all) marketers. I have posted about these refund issues in some forums and have discovered that most marketers are not even aware of this (or don't care about it).
Thanks for this clear and excellent post.
My documentation shows me that - yes indeed you are right - intangibles are not covered by Paypal's consumer protection programs. However, a potential conflict does exist between those programs and the customers's chargeback rights. And yes, you're right again, these chargeback rights only apply to purchases made by a credit card. "If you’re smart though, you used a credit card to pay for your item in PayPal." is a wise recommendation!
